After losing the power for over 5 days all is back to normal now.

The best thing about it - the hot showers.

The nights were pretty chilly - down to 6 degrees the second one, but the generator helped.

There are still 70,000 without power, and some will not get it back until after Christmas.

The power of Mother Nature - she is not one to mess with!

I am happy to announce to my customers, that KML’s Corner will still be accepting money orders as payment for a purchase.

This post is in reply to a notification from Ebay that they will no longer be allowing the sellers to accept money orders and checks as payment from the buyers.

In this fast-paced world, KML’s Corner understands that not everybody wants to pay by credit card or electronic means.

This new ebay rule goes into effect in late October.

If any of my customers wish to make a purchase from my ebay store and do not want to use paypal, please contact me through this link.  We will make arrangements otherwise.

I feel my customers should have the choice to decide how they want to conduct their purchases, so I will not be removing paper payments from their options.

This blog joined Entrecard last Tuesday, and I have worked up to dropping about 75-100 cards a day.

My main blog drops the 300 limit, and my second blog drops about 100 each day.

I will be increasing my drops from this blog slowly over the next week, until I get to about 200 drops.

It has been a time consuming thing, but it has also brought some great exposure and new-found friends - not to mention some great tips and articles for blogging.

I also consider it sweat-equity.  Instead of paying someone, I will invest the time and effort to see where it goes for now.

I am trying a new way of Entrecard advertising with this blog.  I have set a limit to what I will spend for each ad.

On my main blog I have spent many credits for some ads and got very little in return for click-throughs.  I have also found that some of the cheaper ones have brought great returns.

I will post my results as time goes on - it should be an interesting experiment.
