It comes around each year at this time.

The organizing of the bookwork for the previous year - and the start of the tax figuring.

Most of the paperwork is kept up to date as the year goes along, and if I was really on top of things, all the computer input would be done already too.

But for some reason, I prefer to do all the inputting at once.  All the general ledger numbers stay fresh in my mind and the keying in of all the info gets done in record time.

Hopefully it will all go quickly and smoothly.

If it is all done in three weeks time, I will consider myself quite lucky indeed!

Another holiday season is behind us and a good time was had by all in our household.

We enjoyed our grandson’s first Christmas, which wasn’t much fun for him since he was only a few days old, but next year will be quite exciting, I’m sure.  Couldn’t ask for a more perfect gift!

The few days we took off during this time was much needed, and we are all charged up to begin another year.

We only have one of these quality messenger bags made by Kenneth Cole.

It is designed to hold a notebook or laptop computer with a special padded section that protects it.

It is the “One Mess Reason” style name and is from the New York Collection by Kenneth Cole.

Made of gray nylon with black trim, it has a very stylish design.

It contains organizational pockets and slip pockets to keep everything in it’s place.

It was bound to happen.

I have had my Canon printer for almost 5 years now, and I think I have been lucky to have it running for as long as that.

It was a good one - the high end photo printer that I used for my Photo website in the beginning before it turned it into my business one.

I so hated to see it go as it only needed a new print head.

But for the cost of the print head, I could buy a new printer and some extra inks and still have money to spare.

So after spending three days doing everything possible to revive it, I finally gave in and got the Epson NX415 all in one model that was on sale.  Many printers were researched and tested before we made our decision.

It does fine for invoices and copies, but it isn’t the photo printer that the Canon was.

RIP my faithful Canon - you served me well!
